What we collect, where it goes, and when we delete it.
You can scan without signing in. Signing in stores your email and account ID, and links scan history and votes to your account. Google sign-in also provides basic profile data, such as your name and profile picture link, to Supabase Auth. Language and school-of-thought settings are saved on your device and sent to the server with analysis requests.
Photos are used to read ingredients. Higher-quality photos are saved as public product photos only when a signed-in user separately chooses to publish photos for this scan. Publishing is off by default; turning it off in settings prevents future publication. Newly uploaded public photos stop being displayed when account deletion is requested and are removed before account deletion completes. For older photos uploaded without an account link, contact our support email to request removal. Anyone can view public photos, so avoid capturing people or personal information. Photos that could not be analyzed while offline may be kept on your device for retry.
Children’s private scans do not publish photos, ingredients or assessments as shared product information.
Photos are sent to our app server, where text is read and compared with ingredient rules. Photos and ingredients are not sent to external generative AI providers. Unreadable labels or insufficient evidence result in an unknown assessment. Available government or retailer records may be used with their source shown.
Server logs record your IP address, browser and device information, request time and technical events to diagnose faults and prevent misuse. App request and diagnostic logs are retained for 30 days. External service providers may keep separate processing and security records for different periods.
We count barcode and product lookups and photo-analysis outcomes, processing time, reader and language in daily totals. Lookups include guest use. Photo analysis from minor sessions is excluded. These totals store no account or device identifier, IP address, product name, barcode or search text.
For visitors confirmed to be 18 or older, the device stores the first and last use dates, the number of use days and an optional traveler/resident choice. On a day when you view a result, it sends use-day and elapsed-day ranges and the optional choice once, adding them to daily totals. These totals contain no exact dates or identifiers and do not track individual people or devices. Minors and visitors whose age is unconfirmed are not counted. Deleting your account or this device's app data removes the local values.
For visitors confirmed to be 18 or older, we count product browsing, label views, list saves, purchase checkmarks, list sharing, copied seller questions and openings of ingredient analysis in daily totals. These counters contain no account or device identifier, product, barcode or search text. They count actions, not unique people or verified purchases. Shared-list imports and offline-file download requests are also counted in daily totals.
When account deletion completes, your account and server-side scan and vote history are removed. Newly uploaded public photos stop being displayed upon the deletion request, and their removal is verified. Public product information may remain with the author link removed. To remove older photos uploaded without an account link, contact the email below.
Shopping list: Saved in this browser, separately for each account or guest. No cloud sync. Opening and changing the list requires a connection to check access.
Download public labels for this list before your trip. This is not halal certification. Purchase checkmarks reset when you reopen the file. Anyone with the file can see this selection. Deleting the app or account does not delete the file; remove it separately. Check the ingredients on the actual package before buying.
Sign in to the app or website, then choose Settings → Delete account. Newly uploaded public photos stop being displayed immediately; account deletion completes after photo and server-record removal is verified. Unfinished processing is not shown as complete. Without installing the app, you can request deletion at the email below. Send the app name and deletion request from your registered email address. Do not send passwords or verification codes. We will reply if identity confirmation is needed. Public product information may remain with the author link removed. Include the product link when requesting removal of older photos uploaded without an account link.

We use Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., United States) to deliver service emails and receive guardian replies. This includes the recipient or guardian name and email, request links, privacy notice, consent choices and reply content. Stored email and logs are held in the United States for 30 days on Free, Pro and Scale plans; a Japan sending region does not change storage. Resend uses subprocessors, including a small email sample for trust and safety on infrastructure it operates with RunPod. Deleting your app account does not immediately erase Resend's stored emails. Do not send identity documents, photos or unnecessary personal data in replies. For withdrawal or deletion requests, contact info@regenntwrks.com.

A parent or legal guardian can request access to their child's personal information, deletion, and an end to further collection. Open the request link in the original guardian email and choose “Decline / withdraw consent” to stop consent-based access. For access or deletion, email info@regenntwrks.com from the registered guardian email and include the request number. We verify guardian authority before providing or deleting information. Do not send passwords, identity documents or unnecessary child information. We do not report deletion as complete until all relevant removals are verified.
